Brookings South Dakota Workshop and DIY Studio

Monthly Workshops + DIY Studio

The back half of The Creative Space is a DIY studio. The DIY studio has open studio times where you are able to just drop in and paint/create a project. We also host several different workshops a month that you can pre-register for. This space is perfect for any age! We also will host ladies nights, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, team building events and more.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Hi! I’m Brittany DeRyke, owner of The Creative Space Studio and Brittany DeRyke Photography  with my husband Gerrit DeRyke. We have recently moved back to my hometown of Brookings, SD after living in Chicagoland and the Twin Cities. We have been looking at opening up a business for the last few years, but with all the chaos going on in the world we took a pause on pursuing anything. We decided to uproot our family and move back to be closer since having our little boy Carter. When I am not busy being a full time mom, you can catch me photographing beautiful families, couples, kiddos and weddings.
